It is very empty, I tell you! We need this thing back to at least what it was. Hopefully we can do that without things getting in the way though lol

I mean yeah, because the it's same ol users and things, but, there is always drama and stuff, so, yeah. And Elten's userbase is going up and down, I think at one point durring 3.0 we had 110 users online! Can you believe it!!! Anyways, yeah, I don't think this will go back up but at the same time I don't think elten will get as many new users in the EEC either I suppose

110 users online at the same time? I remember in the good old days of the Zone we would get about 130, maybe more.
Never when I was on, though. This was, of course, before the days when social media really took over.
Actually, social media was just starting to take off around then, so things were a bit different.
These days you have so many competing platforms, such as Discord, where anyone with an account can just log in, join a server and start chatting.
Discord kind of reminds me of a modernised version of IRC from back in the day — the same basic idea of joining servers and different chat channels, just with a much more up-to-date interface and a lot more features.

o be fair, not many people are online even on AG net, or apple vis, or the bigger places, the comunity has been emptyer than normal. so yeah

Advertising is the way. This isn't going to be easy in the slightest because its a hard sell though. People already use Mastodon which is available here though there's no notifications tab with that particular program yet and you can't receive notifications for mastodon through Klango yet. That should help. Still, for the main Klango app, there really has to be something that's a big deal for people to want to join and hopefully stay. I like it because its a lot of programs in 1 app and I like the sound packs, those are a big one for me. I do wish it were possible with the YouTube component to view the videos in your personal subscribed channels list.

yeah i don't even know of anyone to give this app to. i am not as popular as i was back in the skype days, but i hope we can get this thing going again.

I agree with all of your suggestions folks. We just have to do some advertising and I think if we put some AI features in the app it would be a big hit for example extensions that could work with GPT, Klaude and Google and others they can work with a free account or premium account, just have to get those extensions to work with those services, just a suggestion, or Klango could have its own AI system as well. I like how we can use spotify in this app as well, maybe wecan add tv to the media catalog as well, or just keep that with youtube just giving ideas out hehe, or we can have a gaming hub out here even though we already have play oro, agnow, and the one that renova games nade, maybe we can have those hubs link with klango or elten as well. ohterwise hope this app will grow again and I still believe that the app can be futurestic especially with soundscapes and audio sound themes they sound like when you lauch them, that you are in a virtual world, maybe Klango can be turned into a simulation app as well where you can do your own thing, just as if you are living a second life. anyway, that's all for now.

right. Elten cound'nt merge with that thing, because already the main elten dev wasn't really all for this TBH even though he is aware of how the original devs let this thing just run.

First and foremost, no, there will be no cooperation or merging between Elten and Klango, except for the Klankton client, which is open-source and managed by me. Klango and Elten will not merge. Regarding the Elten Gamerum, I actually thought about a different approach adding a PlayPalace client to Klango. PlayPalace already has lots of games, plus everyone can host their own server. I think this would be pretty cool. I will try to reach the PlayPalace developer and see if he is all right with this or has an idea how we can achieve this.
