klango 3.5.4b8 is incoming

Hello.
Tomorrow, klango3.5.4b8 will be released. It will be the biggest update since klango got leaked. Although it was leaked, I am grateful for everyone that is trying and using klango. On friday we cracked the 200 users mark and this is just awesome, so thanks to all of you.
Before i release the update, i want to know if there are any big bugs that you want fixed. The biggest one that I struggled with is that some people have trouble installing klango programs, installation works but program doesn't show up. This does not happen on my machines so it's kind of hard to reproduce, but i am trying my best. Also, are there any features you still would like in Klango?

klango seems quiet. whare are the circkles i'm being kepped out of! lol. not a bug i guess, but when changing the speed of audio files not the pitch, the pitch changes also. but in semytones as aposed to liniear in the old klango, speed changed without changing pitch.

Re: klango 3.5.4b8 is incoming

also we need a way to natively upload audio themes, becuse in the original klango you had to use a repository called klangothemes.tk if I remember correctly.

Re: klango 3.5.4b8 is incoming

The translation thing has already been fixed and will be shipping with the next version. The issue was that it was using a long dead way of using google translate, i solved it by switching to deepl.
Regarding soudnthemes, in the oreginal this was solved by you creating themes manually and sending them via mail to i think it was themes@klango.net. Later here this will be solved with a dedicated klango program to create themes and then upload them.

Re: klango 3.5.4b8 is incoming

The music speed bug is something related to the mixer which is in the rust host. I don't know if this will be fixed in the newest version. Regarding old users, what do you mean searching old users? You can search for your self of course, but not for users that are not registered yet, in case you mean that.

I think he means by users in the archive, I don't think you can show all those users as it is technically old data and we're stiiiiiiiiiill on that topic for whatever reason and it is stupid, I tell you

The update will drop whenever the developer is satisfied that all the bugs have been fixed. Be patient.

He said it would be a big update, that is probably why it is taking longer to come out.

Yeah, but the most important bug, the programs bug, has been fixed now. SO we'll soon be there.

Re: klango 3.5.4b8 is incoming

what was the issue with the program thing? And ALso in the next version I would have to figure out how to get the klango zip to extract with windows without using 7zip, because it fails there.

klango 3.5.4b8 is incoming

What error does it give when extracting? That should not be an issue in fact. The issue was that for some people, programs wouldn't install at all sometimes. It only happened on windows, and it was because of a path mismatch that always occured when the user also had an apps directory on their main c drive. It's fixed now and was one of the hardest bugs of the old klango version,.

Re: klango 3.5.4b8 is incoming

An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.

Error 0x80010135: Path too long

pROBAbly because I have post05 on this machine lol

Re: klango 3.5.4b8 is incoming

speaking of the old klango, I wonder how those midis were composed, or the default ones when you activate it and the information sound, or if grmidi is still up even, because I guess that's how those sounds were composed
