So I've been using the new suno now for... since it came out. Honestly, I like it. My voice profiles are clearer, and I feel like I can still use it the same way as I always have. The only drawback is that I can't download as much as I would like, and I have to really be careful what I download and what I won't now. I have to insure that I really, really like the generation that I like. But the AI itself isn't terrible, and the wmg/gmg/whatever the fluff doesn't seem to have really made it crapper.
just record your tracks with a recording software
I used the new Suno for the first time yesterday. I can't aford anything beyond the free plan. The free plan sounds like total crap. Also, I don't like how they got rid of being able to download songs on the free plan. I can understand not being able to download songs from other creaters, but what's the harm in downloading your own songs? Not oly that, but I think they've redesigned both the app and the webiste. On the webiste, the boxes for simple mode for creating songs aren't labeled correctly. In the mobile app, you can't create anything.
they've made there UI worse not improvements, I esspecially see it in the iOS app that it is worse
Well, I have to agree, the free Plan is just shit. I somehow had to get the Premium version because I am using it professionally, but once you have that, you get 20 downloads per month. Personally, that's ok for me, but I do understand that people might not be able to afort that. They changed the browser layout slightly, but it's still quite useable. I've been using it with brave on a Mac and Windows, and Safari on an iPhone.
I noticed when doing covers on the free version, the drums start sounding muffled mid-song.
Right. I don't really get the marketing behind the suno models. When I heard how v4.5 sounded from Andre Louis's review of it, I wanted to try it out myself but couldn't because I couldn't upgrade! V5 sounded even cooler! But then degration of the models started happening about mid 25, and they had made the announcement that the next model would be on WMG because of the lawsuit. This caused so much feer on reddit and even I looked (although half the people complaining about it had writing that only an LLM we have.) Also, v5.5 was OK but it got even cooler when you experimented more with it and I know because Alfie (known as blindsoft here) actually tested it for himself. But V4.5 the free version would sometimes make mistakes here and there. I liked how you could set the weirdness and everything until they degraded it for the free tear a few months ago, and their locking features behind premium since you can't really use it because they want you to pay. Also, from your experience has any model been able to produce music from different areas (2000s r&b/pop etc?) They market v6 as their best model yet, but the problem with that statement is that, 1, audio quality getting worse, 2, songs don't have that much creativity anymore, and 3, audio extentions of a song just sound very bad, and sometimes it doesn't even follow the audio like it would. Covers work very well but again the drums will end up sounding very dry mid-song. Also I noticed that if the veriety sliders are set to extra or max, it quite literally does too much things, and sometimes it'll ad a, um, unexpected artifact and like bass drop thing in songs... IDK really. But the marketing for the models is kinda not really matching IMO and the very power users are also noticing these issues.
